یک قاضی فدرال آمریکا ایران به پرداخت بیش از 2 میلیارد دلار غرامت به قربانیان انفجار سال ۱۹۸۳ بیروت محکوم کرد
در آمریکا، قاضی فدرال رویس لامبرت Royce Lamberth، حکم داد که بیش از ۲میلیارد دلاراز سوی ایران به عنوان غرامت به بازماندگان قربانیان انفجار انتحاری سال ۱۹۸۳ در بیروت، پرداخت شود.
به گزارش رادیو فردا ، این قاضی فدرال هفته گذشته نیز دو حکم متوالی ِ پرداخت ِ ۴۴ و ۳۳ میلیون دلار غرامت به ۴ نفر مجروحان این انفجار و خانواده آن‌ها را صادر کرد.
در جریان انفجار سال ۸۳ میلادی در مقر تفنگداران دریایی آمریکایی در بیروت، ۲۴۱ نظامی کشته شدند. جمهوری اسلامی ایران هر گونه دست داشتن در این انفجار را رد میکند.
بنا بر گزارش‌ها بازماندگان قربانیان این حادثه امیدوارند، غرامت آن‌ها از دارایی‌های مسدود شده ایران در آمریکا پرداخت شود.
